Inspiration Can Help You Live With More Purpose
Who inspires you? This week we want to focus on the inspiring people and elements around you, and how to channel those into action in your life. It doesn’t matter if you’re inspired by a relative, teacher, famous leader, or historic figure– there is someone that you connect with that inspires you. This week we are going to look at why certain people inspire us, what values they have, and what we have in common…
This weeks exercise starts by asking us to evaluate the people that inspire us. Specifically, who is just one person that you can think of that has inspired you, or continues to inspire you? What is it about that person that is so inspiration to you? You might be inspired by their drive and variety of accomplishments, or maybe you value their dedication to principles and philanthropy. There is a reason you connect with this person, by unpacking the attributes that inspire you the most you can discover actions for yourself that you can use to create great happiness and purpose in your life.
To finish the exercise, breakdown what strengths and values you think this person has. See if these strengths and values align with your own (try using your LiveAnew Discovery Survey as a reference). You may be surprised to find that the person you selected has a lot of attributes in common with yourself.
